A cycle ride to the Submarine Pens on Hampton Ridge on a chilly day.

I’m standing on the point of the concrete arrow, seen on the right.
Photo taken from Flash Earth – shows the arrow pointing to an illuminated target used on Ashley Walk bombing range during WW II.

Sue and I have managed to get out for quite a few walks. Here we are testing our new wellies on a local walk.

The next two photos are taken in the locality of Cadman's Pool in the middle of the New Forest. The first photo is before the ramble and the second during the ramble with the New Forest Ramblers.

Jane and Ron came for an evening meal the same day. I showed some oldie photos, now that I have finished scanning the slides. I scanned about 6850 of them that’s why it has taken 18 months!

P1110819 "So Fred the Tread said to me; " I think you need Winter tyres this year" and I said to him: "Winter tyres? I've had this bike 70 years and it's never let me down yet! What would I be doing with Winter tyres? I like sticking with what I know best - can't be doing with these new-fangled things!"

Caption Competition

The photo was taken at The Run, Mudeford. This is where the tide enters and exits Christchurch Harbour.

I am looking for lots more entries than last time. The judges decision is final.

Entries can be emailed to me or put in the comments section of this blog.
